Over the last year or so, a huge amount of work has been done to our new Grafham ground and pavilion (see latest update). The improvements are now pretty much complete, but there is still a long list of fittings and equipment we want to have in place by the time the season starts. These include everything from benches and picnic tables to toilet roll holders and a new tea urn: see the full list. To get everything on the list, we’ll need to raise a little over £4,000.
Funding is, as always, tight and we’re looking to the members for help in one of two ways…
Donations
If you would be willing to support the club by paying for one or more of the items on the list (or if you’re happy just make a general donation towards the appeal) it would be hugely appreciated. As we are a Community Amateur Sports Club, we can claim Gift Aid on donations by UK tax payers, which makes them go further.
To make a personal donation, just scroll down and fill in the simple form below.
Sponsorship
If you have a local business and would be interested in sponsoring the club, we are again offering a “silver sponsorship” package for those contributing £250 or more. This includes advertising space on a sponsors’ board, an advertisement on our website and in the new season handbook. We’re also are more than happy to consider bespoke sponsorship deals in line with what suits your business, including the possibility of a sponsors’ sign on the A281 at Grafham for a part of the year.
If you would like to discuss either the silver sponsorship package or a more specific sponsorship proposal, please get in touch with our treasurer, Richard Brocksom, at richardbrocksom@btinternet.com.
