Girls' Cricket
Our girls’ section has grown rapidly over the past few years and in 2024 numbered over 100 girls, aged between 6 and 15. All the girls’ summer training sessions now take place at Blackheath; most home matches are at Grafham though in 2025 it is expected that a few will be at Blackheath.
The girls coaching is led by highly experienced professional coach, Sharon Eyers, supported by members of the same team of professional coaches who coach the boys. Each squad also has a professional squad manager, supported as necessary by other professional coaches and volunteer parent coaches.
In 2025, we will be running the following girls’ league teams:
-
U15/U14 (hardball)
-
U13/U12 (hardball)
-
U11/U10 (softball Surrey SmashIt league)
-
U9/U8 (softball mini-tournaments)
U15/U14 girls are also invited to play alongside slightly older girls as part of our women's team, within the I'Anson League structure, and in our new hardball development team.
